Sooo, as Brent and I are about to say goodbye, his Captain walks in the room and announces that all flights have been cancelled, Oklahoma City airport is closed, and the guys will get an off post pass for Saturday... What!? Nothing that is happening this entire trip makes any sense.... Brent and I both knew that this all sounded too good to be true, and of course it was. The airport is NOT closed and my flight is ON TIME. Of course, a chance to spend the day together and I have to fly back home.
So, I took matters into my own hands and changed my flight for tomorrow instead of today. I'll tell Brent when he calls... another day in OK. Hopefully, uh no, prayerfully today will be better than the rest!
